In Honduras with the Whole Group

We are all here in Roatan.

We had a wonderful day in Copan wandering the ruins. We have a million pictures between all of us but just arent ready to take time out of our trip to mess with our pictures to post them so we will all be doing some more interesting posts later in the week.

Yesterday, we woke up at 4am and took the bus all the way to La Ceiba. It really wasnt too bad for the distance that we covered and we arrived at the ferry by around 2pm with plenty of time to make our 4:30 ferry.

The ferry was incredible. The girls were adorable since this was their first big boat ride on the ocean. We arrived in Roatan just as it was getting dark so we really havent actually "seen" anything yet. We did go to an amazing restaurant for a true caribbean dinner. Coconut curry shrimp, fresh fish, jerk chicken and shrimp, rice and beans, fried plantains and the best coconut cream pie that we have ever eaten.

We came back to the house and checked out the pool right outside the house and watched the little girls swim. It was their first opportunity to mess around with snorkel, masks and fins. It was a challange but Hannah is already a pro and ready for the ocean. We are confident that Rae will be a pro at it by tonight so that we can spend the week enjoying the reef.

I hope that everyone will make some guest posts during the week so keep your eye out for them.
